The API Anthology project at Oregon State University aims to create a platform for members of Asian and Pacific Islander communities to tell their stories and share their thoughts on current events through various mediums in a more personal way. We hope that providing this opportunity will aid in the self-expressions of those in the community and inadvertently lead to the critical analyses of the intersectional identities within our communities. Check out submissions under the "anthology" tab on the navigation bar.
OUR THEMES
To help narrow the scope of submissions while still maintaining central ideas within each submission, this year's anthology will focus on three themes: Heat, Borders, and Color. How these themes are interpreted will be decided by the individual artists.
creative expression
In the API community, outlets for creative expression are limited. This anthology focuses on providing an opportunity for stories and experiences to be shared in a variety of media to support the creative souls which make up the very core of our communities.
